  • change color of clip on timeline..

Hey peeps, in premiere pro cs2 (or cs3 or cs4 for that matter) is there a way to change the color the the clips on the timeline, kind of like how you change the color of layers on a timeline in AFX. (i’m not talking about color correcting the actual clips, i’m talking about their representations in the actual sequence)

    thanks!

You can only change the default color of a type of file using the label preference.

FWIW (very old thread, but what I was looking for!), you can change a clip color by selecting the clip and then going to Edit>Label>Color. There are eight colors to choose from.
