    Is there anyway I can change the area *around* the composition to black? I preview fullscreen, but I get grey letterboxing (and even on the sides) because the composition itself is grey.

    Are you referring to the background color? That can be changed by going to Composition—>Background Color.

    It sounds like you’re talking about the interface colors though, and that can be changed by going to Edit—>Preferences—>User Interface Colors.

    thanks. in ‘user interface colors’ I can make the interface a dark grey, but is there anyway I can make it black?
