  • Change Audio Pan of All Clips

Posted by Jake Wheeler on February 17, 2007 at 11:31 pm

A feature project I have in FCP has encountered an audio problem where the audio on a large number of clips has shifted pan to -1, putting all the sound out of one speaker. Since this is a documentary, I just want the sound to put out at 0 pan like it was recorded. Is there a way to adjust all the clips at once so I don’t have to hunt through the entire project changing the pan back?

    thanks

just set the pan correctly on 1 clip and copy that clip, then select all the other clips you would like to apply that pan setting to, right click, and select paste attributes. Check the box for pan and you will apply the copied clip’s settings to all the selected clips.
