Certain clips won’t playback on monitor
I am working in final cut pro and using a Sony flat screen as a monitor through the Aja card. Usually playback on the monitor is fine but certain clips won’t play on the monitor, whether in a sequence or not. Can anyone point me in the right direction in solving this?

If the clips are not editing codecs FCP works with, then they won’t play back thru the monitor via AJA. DNxHD won’t, MPEG 4 won’t…a whole list. Only those formats found in the EASY SETUPS will.
