Center Cursor in screen and Changing duration question
Hi everyone,
i have couple of questions.
1) When I zoom in sometimes the cursor is central and regardless of how much I zoom in it stays on the screen. Sometimes the zooming causes the cursor to end up somewhere off screen and I have to scroll along the timeline to find it. Why is this, its very annoying. Is there a keyboard shortcut to center the cursor on the screen (but keep in in the same place om the timeline).
2) If I change the duration of a clip the rest or the timeline ripples. Is there a way of stooping this rippling. I know I could ude the roll tool but sometimes I want to do it by typing time.

1. Hit the spacebar twice. There might be a fancier keyboard shortcut but this is what I do.
2. I don\\\’t know how you can change the duration of a clip and not change the duration of the timeline but you can highlight a clip, choose the ripple roll tool and then type in the amount you want to change. Or you can hit the trim edit buttons to roll the clip without having to drag using the roll tool.
