    Hi,

I am lovin’ the Wirecast Pro and getting ready to purchase. But I am really confused about which CDN to use or the functionality. I will be doing mostly conferences and town hall meetings once a quarter for now and I do not want any advertising or CDN promotion if I can help it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Watershed. (watershed.ustream.tv)

It’s Ustream’s unbranded CDN. Easy(ish) to set up. Easy to embed. Easy to start / stop. You pay per viewer & a reasonable monthly rate.

I’ve had pretty good luck so far, my only consideration is that once in a great while it’s hard to start a stream, so we always start our streams VERY early with a simple “coming soon” slide.

To clarify you can have either a monthly plan or a pay as you go plan. Pay as you go can get expensive if you have a lot of viewers though.

If you want “TV station” type service (24/7), Livestream has a monthly plan as well.

When you’re not live you can have an autopilot play through a looped sequence of programs as well as user selectable Video On Demand. That can be an important feature if you expect that some potential interested parties may miss the live stream.
