Note for editors. Have a 4K multicam cut with proxy mode. Now have colored the 4K native files after “flattening” the MC and no longer working in proxy.

I have essential sound applied to all audio clips. The sequence has become to laggy to work with. 5 to 10 second delay after hitting play for it to begin playing.
FYI Mac OSX latest of everything. 140 TB Thunderbolt Raid, 64GB ram etc etc.

After working with Adobe support and deleting preferences, checking settings, uninstall, reinstall the lag is still there and it has been escalated.

As a test, deleted all audio from the sequence the lag is gone. Making copy of sequence for an unflattened save of the audio, and am then exporting out an audio only file and will replace the multicam audio with the flattened file. Not elegant but it should kill the lag. Still wonder what went wrong in the workflow. Hoping Adobe Sr support can narrow it down farther.
