AE 6.5, I’m trying to wrap perpendicular lines, and place the earth, masked out as a circle, between the the front and back layer. Problem is, the lines suddenly disappear as they curve away, then reappear 50 pixels away. So it like there’s a piece missing. It’s not all that thin, and the lines don’t really grade out. Does CC Sphere do that to everyone?

I am applying sphere to the lines. I have the earth separate, but I’m trying to wrap the lines around behind the earth, hence the two separate layers. Just tried adjusting the comp so that it is twice as wide as it is high, but I have the same problem.
