I’ve added particles to a project in After Effects CS3 using CC Particle World. At the moment, with a positive velocity value, the particles expand from the center, like an explosion. Wanting to achieve the opposite effect, I changed the velocity value to negative. However, this seems to have no effect. The particles still explode outward from the center instead of sucking towards it. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this? Thanks in advance

simply reversing the time keyframes is a quick hack but this usually doesn’t work as expected since the physics are not actually reversed. The motion appears fake. Takes some experimentation to make explosive effects run backwards.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
