Hello there, I’m having a very bizarre problem.

I’ve been making lower thirds for a television program I work on in After Effects. The graphic is very simple, its just a couple shape layers, some text, and an adjustment layer. The lower third animates itself away with CC Film Burn. Up until now, I’ve been able to crank out several lower thirds with no problem whatsoever. But the other day, when I try to render out some more, AE Crashes!

I painstakingly tried to trouble shoot the problem. I messed with memory and processing settings, disabled Open GL, and even tried lowering the final output resolution. The only thing that worked was removing the CC Film Burn effect from the adjustment layer.

I’ve since managed to work around the problem, but I’m terribly confused as to why it stopped working all of a sudden in the first place. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
