CatDV Server Installation Fail
Running Clean install of OS X 10.8.5
Installed MySQL: 5.5.34 MySQL Community Server (I am running an older version to be compatible with a migration from Linux, under squarebox’s reccomendations. This should not cause an issue)Tested MySQL using /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql
MySQL is running, also confirmed in the PreferencesPaneAttempt to install CatDV Server 6.8.1. Install runs and installation fails.
Here’s the fail log:

Can you run the CatDV Desktop app on that same system? You don’t have to leave it installed, it’s just another good test. Also, what does the “Everything” log display? There may be additional messages there to indicate what the failure was that don’t get into the Errors Only log output.
I would start by checking the installation of Java that you are using. In Mavericks, Apple sends you to Oracle, but in 10.7, you should be downloading the JRE 6 package from Apple.

I have a feeling that it is a corrupted download of the image. Unfortunately I cannot download a new one as the Squarebox downloads page is currently down:

I managed to find an old 6.7 install and that worked. I then found a 6.8.0 and that also worked so I believe it is a problem with my 6.8.1 dmg. Which is strange, as I have used this image before from another drive.
Thanks for the advice anyhow. I will report back if I find the error.
