  CatDV and Premiere Pro: What to Expect

  Hello all,

  I’m seriously considering CatDV, but before I take the plunge, I’d like to understand fully how it integrates with Premiere Pro, thereby affecting the edit after everything has been logged.

  For the record, I downloaded the CatDV trial and experimented with it and FCP7. Integration via XMLs was seamless, as CatDV’s metadata translated perfectly into FCP7’s columns. Is the same true for Premiere Pro? If so, how does CatDV’s metadata translate into Premiere Pro’s schemas? I’d conduct some tests myself, but my CatDV trial has expired. 🙁
