    Hi

I was given a project where I have to animate digital numbers in a cash register window—from 0.00 to 7.00.

I created a black solid and applied the “numbers” application (under text) and it’s pretty much what I was looking for…..except: I am getting a jittery effect when it “jumps” up every dollar value. From 0 to 1 to 2 to 3 etc….there’s a BIG jitter jump. Seems like the numbers on the right side of the decimal are fine.

    Can anyone help?

    It’s appreciated!!!

“big jitter jump” is not illustrative in the least. the chroma flies off the vector? The scale changes? The dimensional position changes? You must use a monospace typeface.

    Hello again

I tried a monospace typeface–courier font–which helps w/ the number shifts but the entire number(as a whole) is moving frantically as if a earthquake/jitter effect was applied.

It’s as if I gave it a wiggle–it’s slight but very noticeable.

I think I figured it out–I clicked “proportional Space” OFF….that took care of it I think.

    thanks

    thanks bogiesan

Ok by jitterjump I really meana “shift” in position by the dollar value…actually, watching it again, it’s as if the entire numerical “block” has a frantic wiggler effect.

    I’ll try the monospace typeface.

    thanks again–appreciate it!

Thanks for closing the thread with a viable solution.
Hardly anyone does that around here.
