Card Flip in After Effects
Hi everyone I would like to make a similar card flip like you see here in the video

My problem is the front picture and the back picture. I dont know how the best option to put 2 different pictures on the back and on the front of a card. The card will be a very slim paper. I tried to put 2 pictures very tight so the distance between was 0.1 px. It worked for a rotation, but when im adding another picture under that card, some problem occur (when I flip the card to make visible the picture under that) and I have to go up to 1px to get rid of that problem

any help ?

In an ideal setup, you would set up the cards as per your description then Parent the back layer to the front layer.
What is the problem that occurs when you flip the two layers?

The explanation is quite vague.

any help ?This would solve the issue. Make a video or you can upload a raw project file.

I have created the same thing and got the same problem. So to fix I added a 2D layer after 1st image comp and that solved the issue. The problem is related to the 3D Layer order AFAI get to know from different forums(I might be wrong).
See the example below:
Hide the 2D layer and the problem will occur again.
When we add a 2D layer between two 3D layers, the 2D layer creates two different 3D space. In this case the when we add a 2D layer the White Solid Layer stop interacting with the 2nd Comp layer.
Another work around is that move your white solid comp 0.1 px in opposite direction. I mean give it’s position a value of -0.1 px.
These are just hit and trial method. So the approach might be wrong.
