Let’s be clear, I’m referring to my stupidity when it comes to card dance, not that the effect is stupid….

Maybe its because it’s Monday, but I can not for the life of me figure out what I’m doing wrong. I figure I’m attempting the simplest of all implementations of card dance, so:

I have two layers. Applied Card Dance to layer 1, set “back layer” to layer 2 in the effect. 3 rows, 4 columns. Animate the x and z rotation’s offset from 0 to 180. This flips the cards to show the back layer, fine. However, the horizontal is flipped on the resulting image. As in the back of the cards have the wrong part of layer 2.

I know this is 100% my ignorance, but like I said, its Monday…

try flipping the back layer (scale -100,100)…

if that doesn’t work you may need to precomp the back layer, choose to move all attributes (so you keep it flipped in the precomp), then check out the card dance comp.
