    Hi

We have just setup a system with Final Cut Pro 6 and AJA Io HD in our offices and we are trying to capture XBOX360 1080i HD footage through the AJA HD but no signal is shown on the control panel. The audio is working and I can confirm there is communication bettween the AJA and the Power Mac but no video signal.

Do you know of a particular method that needs to be followed?

    Regards

how are you hooking up the xbox to the IoHD? I’m pretty sure HDMI from these devices is copy protected, I would try component video.

No HDMI works as a way to capture. I have pulled multiple halo 3 games in this way. Make sure in the AJA control panel the source in is HDMI and make sure the Audio is set to HDMI as well.

In final cut I used easy setup HD prores 422 HQ 29.97. When I went to capture I selected non-controllable device for device control under capture settings.
