Capturing video with put through
I’m using Sony Vegas 8 Platinum. I have some old DVD’s that play only on the recorder that made them. I’m running the DVD recorder output into my Panasonic digital camcorder and outputting from that to Vegas. When trying to capture the camcorder output, Vegas won’t let me. It insists I insert a tape and then it captures that tape. When I switch around to different tabs while in the Vegas capture window, I can see, but only for a split second, the feed through image on the preview screen. Then it goes back to the “Please insert tape” window. I’d rather not tape in my camcorder and then capture it. Too much time to do that. Any option here to capture the feed-through video??
