    Capturing Sony XDCam (PDW-1500) in Premier Pro 2.0

    Hi –

    I am trying to capture video from Sony XDCAM discs from a PDW-1500 deck via firewire into my Premier Pro 2.0 system.

    Although the computer recognizes the deck, Premier does not. Any thoughts?

    Hi,

    Try to use the MOG importer from MOG Solutions.
    This ia a fast converter for convert MXF to AVI.

    Or: make sure that the 1500 is in ilink mode (1394) and not on the ftp mode (that can also the 1394 protocol)
