    Capturing Problems on Avid

    Hi Everyone

    I’ve just got Avid Media Composer 6 and i’m trying to capture footage. I’ve got the Capture tool window up, but i can’t seem to find the source tape display button on the capture window. can anyone help me?

    Sure…please start by helping us with more information. What IO device are you using with the Avid? Nitris? Mojo? AJA? BMD? Matrox? And what deck? How is it connected? Does it have RS-422 deck control?

    Or is this a firewire deck? HDV or DV?

    Hi Shane
    Sorry for the late reply Its a firewire cable and DV tape iv’e managed to hook the cable into my camcorder and computer but it’s still not working everything is switched on though and connected
