    capturing problem

    so i got a vista PC, bought a firewire card for it. put it in, and it recognises my camera but when i go to capture on adobe, the preview shows up with loads of lines and looks all messed up, when i try to record on the capture window it says cannot find capture point, please increase pre-roll,

    i have tried:
    increasing pre roll
    re plugging in the firewire card
    re installing adobe
    restarting computer

    i also tried to capture on another program, this worked, but when i import to adobe and go to pllay it on adobe it comes up with the lines etc again.

    anyone have any ideas? sad.gif i wish my old trusty computer hadnt died..

    What camera are you using? that might help.
