  Capturing issue with AMC 3.1.2 using HVR-1500

  Hey guys,

  I am having an issue capturing footage using a Sony HVR-1500 with Avid Media Composer 3.1.2 on a macbook pro via firewire. Not sure if this is just a processing speed issue with the computer or if there is actually timecode discontinuity issues that are erroring out the capture. The TC seems to consistent on the deck TC, but seems a mildly jumpy in the capture tool window. I also get an error at the start of the capture that says “File Creating59 can not be deleted because it is busy.” I have never encountered this error message before and not sure what it means. However, when I hit OK the capture will start and continue until the next “TC break.” Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
