Capturing in HD…
Hey all, currently use Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder USB 2.0 and Vegas Pro 9 to do my videos. I want to make the transition to HD vids. I now they’re very memory intensive. A friend of mine mentioned using a USB Spinless Hard drive. Also want to get an internal capture card for my PC for when I do captures on the 360.
I know you should have a hard drive set aside specifically for captures. Thinking about the aforementioned idea or getting another internal hard drive. Anything I should look for? I was also thinking of getting a powered HDMI splitter.
My PC motherboard uses USB 2.0. I’ve been told USB 3.0 is ideal for video work. Any alternatives/suggestions? Not getting a new motherboard though.
Thanks!
