  Capturing HVR-Z1E HDV 24P

  I have some tapes from a Sony HVR-Z1E filmed in HDV 24P. It is my first time working on a HDV production and i would like some advice on which project settings to use in Premiere Pro CS3.

  I will be exporting to After Effects and then back into Premiere and finally to DVD.

  Just to note the camera is not mine i have a Canon HV30 which plays back the tapes ok but will i be able to rip from the tapes in Premiere?
