April 6, 2010 at 1:35 pmThese are the wrong settings these are for DVC PRO HD a Panasonic format.
You should be using HDV 720p25 everywhere you have chosen DVC PROHD.
Your frame size should be 1280 x 720.Your playback speed problems are caused by some settings at 60p, some at 24p and some at 25p.
Make sure everything is at 25p.Cinematographer, Steadicam Operator, Final Cut Pro Post Production.

April 6, 2010 at 2:36 pmThere doesn’t appear to be any 25p settings. And no 1280×720 settings either. I’d love to know where they are in FCP v.5

April 6, 2010 at 9:35 pmI don’t know what has happened. I do know FCP5 will work with this format.
The 25p setting was not there but I told you how to do create that in earlier post.
You do appear to have HDV settings as you’ve selected one (HDV – Apple Intermediate Codec).
Sorry at this point I don’t think I can help you further.

April 7, 2010 at 7:13 amWell, thanks for your help. In your earlier post when you told me how to get the 25fps settings… I replied…
“Ok, once I’ve opened my ‘copy’ of my new sequence, where do I change the frame rate? In the field that says ‘Editing Timebase’?
And then how do I save it as “HDV-72025p”?
I’ve tried duplicating a sequence and changing the ‘Editing Timebase’ to 25, but the camera is still not being recognised for capture”
