    Hi guys,

Is it possible to capture 720p50 footage shot on a Panasonic HDX900 into FCP6 from tape? I’ve looked over all the capture presets and checked the Easy Setups but I can only find 720p24, 25, 30, & 60. I checked the previous posts before asking this but couldn’t find any solutions. Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ben.

Yes, it’s possible. I did this recently, but on my system there was an option for capturing 720p50.

But from what I learned there is no way to control the HDX900 via firewire, so you can’t batch capture logged clips. I just used the “Capture Now” function instead.
