Okay, this is weird. I think.

Amidst hundreds of P2 clips, I have seven (all from the same shoot) that appear to be shot at 50 fps. When I watch them in Log and Transfer (without issues, I should note), they are working from a base 50 timecode. However, the Log and Transfer tool indicates that they are at a shooting rate of 25 fps, format of 720p25. (Most of the other clips that I’ve observed are shot at 720pN25.)

When I bring these clips into FCP via log and transfer, they are unplayable – slow picture and “clicky” audio. For grins, I tried speeding up the video to 200% but it didn’t let me get things into sync (not that the audio was clean enough to be usable for broadcast anyway). I also tried putting the clip in a 50fps timeline, but no luck.

How do I get this clip out of P2land and into a usable format?
