Should I be capturing sync DV video and audio shot at 30fps and 32kHz with an audio capture setting at 32kHz or 48khz. I’ve tried both. When capturing at 48khz I get a dialogue box warning about my audio capture rate not matching the rate at which it was shot, but the clip comes into the machine IN sync. When I capture at 32, I no longer get the dialogue box, but the clip comes into the machine OUT of sync. What are the ramafications of me capturing stuff shot at 32kHz at 48kHz. I’m using FCP (5) for the first time and will be eventually outputting to 24fps DI for a film release. I want to be exacting in the way I use FCP so that I do not end up with EDL list problems at the finish. Thanks
