Capturing
Hello all,
When I capture my DV files, they are raw .avi. Is there a way to capture as .mpeg instead. If so, is this a good idea?? Is it better to edit with .avi files or .mpeg files.?? My experiences are that rendering to mpeg to many times really looks crap…
Any thoughts??

There are ways to capture to Mpeg, but not with Vegas. You want the direct DV transfer to avi to edit with.
