captured clips with no audio
I captured some clips off my DV camera. The DV tapes have audio on ch. 1 only.
In the capture process I could hear the audio through my computer speakers.
However in the bin, the clips in question show up as video only.
All of the clips I captured which had both audio tracks on the DV tape are OK.
What gives?So then I tried to batch capture the clips in question, but the same end result, no audio in clips in bin. I guess it would not try to batch capture the audio since the bin clips have no audio.
Is there a way to export a batch list from these clips, and add the audio tracks in a text editor, then import said list into Premiere to capture with audio.
Or I will just make a new batch list based upon time codes in bin, which is no big deal.
Never seen this before.
Any help or suggestions appreciated.

If the clips are showing up as video only, odds are that the toggle for Audio in the capture window was off when the batch list was created. (I’ve heard that this can happen to people accidentally via keyboard shortcuts.)
Try selecting one of the clips in the project window & make it offline, then double-click on the clip to bring up the offline clip dialog. It should show you whether or not the clip was captured as video-only. (The drag is there’s no way currently to reset this back to a/v, so you would need to rebuild a batch list for the video-only clips.)
