Captured clips – no sound when played in Mediaplayer 9 – pffff…
… Windows, so tiring sometimes.
I captured some clips with Sony Vegas 5.0d one week ago and when playing them in Windows Media Player the video is fine, but it doesn’t play the sound.
The error message is as follows:
“The audio codec identified by the format tag 1 is required to play this file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web, click Web Help.”
Mmm, the web help doesn’t help me at all. Does anyone have an idea what can be done here?

The strange thing is that I captured some video clips a few months ago and they are fine, eg the audio is played normally…
