    Hi,

I’m trying to capture still images on a decklink hd studio, using decklink 6.1. The source is a xbox 360, outputting 720p on component.

The screens are very blurry, as you can see on the attached file for example, is it very visible on the writing on the bottom (like it is smeared to the right). And when i connect directly to a tv, it is perfectly sharp, so the problem seems to come from the capture card. It does the same thing when i try to connect any other source on the decklink. I also tried to move the card into another slot :

Does my card have a problem, or is there a setting somewhere i forgot to change?

    Thanks

I am also getting blurry looking HD captures. The blurriness of nazablok ‘s screenshot looks very representative of the blurriness that I’m getting when capturing uncompressed 720p video.

I’ve got a DeckLink HD Extreme capturing 720p uncompressed video from an Xbox 360 and also the 720p component output from a PC (Nvidia video card). When you plug the output of either the Xbox or the PC into an HDTV the image is not blurry at all. Attaching the component output of the DeckLink to the TV makes the image look blurry.

Is this a problem with all DeckLink HD cards or just a few? Or is this the expected behavior?

    Thanks,
    Dan
