    Hi,

    I want to synchronize the pre-recorded image of the actor’s postion in film location with his new position while capturing on live in fcp 6.0.4

    I mean if there is an option to superimpose an image in capture screen of fcp.

    I heard that I can do it with a monitor which has two input video to overlap two different videos, but we haven’t got a budget for a monitor.

    Any suggestion for fcp or technique, capture or overlapping video software for mac?

    No this is not possible.

    What you’re looking for is a video switcher that allows you to set up a cross dissolve between images and hold it at the halfway point. There are software solutions out there but I honestly have no idea what they are or what to recommend.
