    Hi.

Struggeling to lay back some work to digibeta through the DVW 500P and with a decklink card.

    Two problems.
    1.
    Striping the tapes.

When I stripe them from the deck, the TC suddenly goes haywire and jumps all over the place

when I try to black them from the “edit to tape” window, it looks better, except from the fact that I cannot get the TC to start where I want (usually it starts around 15-20-23’ish hours somewhere. I need it to be at
    00:00:00:00

    Or more ideally:
I’d like to start at 23:58:00:00 and insert @ 00:00:00:00

I’ve set the device control preset to LTC + VITC and the pre-roll to 10 secs (I’ve tried up to 30 secs)

My tapes are all new btw.

Finally I managed to stripe 6 minutes (which is just about enough), but then I get the
“Unable to lock servo on deck” message.

I would happily read the bleeding manual, if the rental house hadn’t decided that the manual was not to come with the deck…

Anywhere I can DL it as a pdf?

I have upgraded the declink software, with the exact same symtoms as the result.

    Any ideas appreciated!

I can also be reached privately at gunleik (at) vulture (dot) no

    Cheers!
