capture problems- 1049×576??
Hey guys
Very new to premiere CS5 still learning just got a couple of questions..
1. I am capturing DV 720×576 and for some reason every 3-4 clips captured it captures a clip 1049×576. And then i have to rewind and capture the same clip again and works fine(720×576) any reasons why this would be happening??
2. Also once i have captured some clips i double click a clip in the project window to view it in the source window and the quality is pretty bad really pixelly. But if i drop the same clip in the timeline its fine. anything i’m doing wrong or is that normal??
I’ve just jumped over from FCP7 for work reasons. It works pretty similar still learning the little things to find a good workflow.
Any help would be much appreciated and thanks in advance

This has been reported the Adobe forum once (Mac also) but unfortunately never been solved.
I think re-install is the best option or check the firewire.
