Capture of 1440 x 1080i HDV/mpeg-2 from a Canon HV20 to Premiere Pro CS5.5.2
Note :
Capture of clips from a Canon HV20 has worked perfectly for 5 years, now PP CS5.5.2 “says off line”. Using a i7 64 bit computer, only happened since motherboard replaced ?
New cabling has been installed , did not fix issue. Canon has checked camera and output is correct as HDV listed in Premiere Pro CS5.5.2
Any ideas ?
Firewire cable has been replaced, but, not the problem. And Premiere Pro CS5.5.2 has had a clean install ?

Yes, well, it turned pout to be the Firewire card, had to be replaced…….
