Capture DVcam in Final Cut
I have a footage that i have recorded in the format DVcam 16:9. And i don’t know if i have to activate the Anamorphic mode or not, when capture. Can anyone help me?

If it was recorded Anamorphic, then yes, you need to choose the Anamorphic setting. If it was LETTERBOXED in camera (as many cameras do), then just choose the normal DV settings.

the problem is that it wasn’t recorded by me. and the guy that gave me the footage only told me that it was in DVcam and 16:9.
I know that the camcorder is an Sony HDV, but don’t help me to much. i think i need to ask the guy.. thanks for the help!
