    Hi All,

Adobe Premier Pro CS3 3.2 continues to say “Capture Device Offline” even though everything is set up. It’s a SONY DCR-TRV18 Mini DV Camera and it’s hooked into the computer via a USB cable. The Capture Device remained offline. What am I doing wrong?

    Any suggestions?

usb is the problem. pp doesn’t support usb capture. 1394 aka firewire or serial with pro hardware. try capturing with wmm. then import to pp 4 editing.
