I’m looking into buying a capture card for my AMD64 3000 system for Premiere Pro and AFX. i specifically need to use it for a video monitor output, but I could also use component I/O. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

What type of content will you be capturing? If its just DV footage that you are capturing, a firewire card should suffice.

    Hi Travis
I have a Black Magic Design “Decklink Extreme” card, it gives me Composite, Component, SDI and RS422 deck control, works great with PP, AFX, Photoshop and Combustion. They come in many flavours and price ranges.
    Cheers
