Hi guys, I have an Intensity Pro installed and also need to be able to capture 480p vis-a-vis a component cable. I can get a 480i 4:3 signal from the device, but not 480p and not 16:9, which is the desired format. Does anyone know of a software that works with Intensity Pro that captures in 480p? Or does the card’s firmware somehow forbid this? I downloaded Cineform’s awesome HDV software, and it doesn’t support 480p either. However, it does add a dizzying array of new resolutions to the device, so I was wondering if any compatible recording software out there has an even wider assortment of resolutions.

    Thanks!

JVC has an HDV recording mode on the HD100U that
    offers 480P.

I’m trying to record HD video from a game console in 480p, not a camera.

Right, it can only be done that way through the JVC camera.

There’s no other way to get 480P that I’m aware of.
