Has anyone tried bringing a file created in Captivate to FCP?

I have a software training program to produce that has to involve a lot of talking head video footage along with on-screen software demonstrations. I have considered just doing a series of screen grabs and then animating mouse movements, but Captivate just makes it so much easier.

    Any advise?

    Thanks!

you could also consider using snapz pro X to do the trick. It allows you to do video screen grabs. I used it for a very similar project with great results. I configured the software to capture a 768×576 pixels selection (I work in PAL), with the cursor visible. I saved the grabbed video as a QT animation, and brought it into fcp. All that was left to do is trim it a little and add sound effects.

Thanks for the idea! I’ll give it a shot.
