    Hi all,

Has anyone got any experience with Caprock’s anti-moire filters?

They look like a pretty worthwhile investment, but it seems some of the pattern diameters are more suited to certain cameras than others, for example, the 2.0 apparently works with a 7D but not with a 5D at all.

As a 550D user, (b-cam and ‘artsy’ stuff only I hasten to add), I presume I’d need the 2.0, as the camera is basically the 7D’s little brother. But I could be completely wrong on that and the Caprock website isn’t particularly helpful – especially as it’s geared more towards photographers anyway.

    Cheers!

Not sure about it except that it probably is sized according to your lens.

Haven’t tested them myself, but here’s an article/test I found some time ago:

    Maybe this helps

Thanks Pete – I’d not seen that one.

So it looks like you need the whole set then… Great, another $500 I’ve gotta run past she who holds the purse strings…
