Canvas Won’t Playback Edits
I am having a strange issue with playback. When I hit play, the time line plays and shows up in the canvas. However, if I make an edit (for example I change the text on an overlay) the edit DOES NOT show up…as in, the time line is not being updated.
I am 80% done with this project, and it has worked fine every other day. How do I fix this?

Shane’s Stock Answer MANTRA:
When things in FCP start acting weird, or like they shouldn’t be, then you need to:
1) Repair Permissions with the Disk Utility
2) Trash your preferences. Best tool for this is FCP RESCUE
3) Shut down for 10 min. Go for a quick walk around the block and get SOME exercise today. Come back, turn on the computer and see how things are.
4) Do the hokey Pokey and turn your self about. Results may vary.

FCP rescue keeps shutting down each time I launch it.
Is it compatible with Leopard.how do you do it manually?
