Hi everyone. I teach Final Cut Pro in high school. One of my students copied his sequence and pasted to a new sequence. When doing this as he scrolled through the timeline sequence his clips previewed in a smaller resolution in the Canvas. I adjusted the size to a hundred percent but it enlarged the image and magnified it cutting out certain parts of the clip.

    HELP!

Probably the two sequences have no the same settings (size?).

I was also thinking have you checked your Sequence Settings are the same.

    Whenever it looks smaller … it could have been copied from a 640×480 / 720 x 480 Timeline to an HD Timeline 1440 / 1920 ….

That’s happened to me before. … It’s a common mistake.
