  can’t write to DVD-RW

  it seems that when i upgraded to a “superdrive” (that would burn dual density discs), i could no longer burn practice discs to any of my DVD-RW’s, but have no problem burning to my DVD+RW. i can’t even erase the -RW’s with the disc utility. does this sound normal?
