Can’t seem to copy my project and all its media to a new drive. I have done this successfully before. I have researched and believe I am following all the steps and I have done this before.

Ok, so just the project means just that timeline and the media used. To do that, you want to choose file>create new library from project. (Or something like that). Choose to place it on the drive you want. Open it and select the library and go to the inspector and consolidate the media.
