  • Can’t Seem to Add Audio Effects to Multicam Sequence

Hi. I have some mono tracks where the sound is only coming out of one speaker. I wanted sound to come from both so I tried adding the “Fill Left With Right” Effect to the audio track but it didn’t do anything. So then I tried adding it to the original source clip by double clicking the audio in the multicam sequence –>opening the source sequence and adding it there…no dice.

    ANY IDEAS?

You sure it’s mono? Is it only on the left (ch.1) channel? Find the clip you need in your Project bin, right-click on the clip and go to Modify, then select Audio Channels. Select format as Mono and make sure your L channel is checked. Hit OK. If your audio was on the right channel, you would select R instead of L. This will make a single channel mono.

I should mention you will need to re-edit into your timeline after you do modify the audio.
