Can’t see text when renaming items in the Project Window
I Just upgraded to the latest Premiere, and now whenever I try to rename an item in the project window, I cannot see the highlighted text that I am renaming. If I type blindly and press return, it renames the text and I can see the text again, so I guess its a minor annoyance but I don’t see any one else on the cow complaining about it.
Anyone else have this problem?

If by remedial steps you mean quitting and relaunching. Restarting. I tried those and they didn’t work.
I then discovered that I somehow had two projects windows open in the project in question.
One worked as normal, the other misbehaved.
I closed the misbehaving one, and the problem has not recurred.Check out my plugins for AE, Premiere, Motion and FCP.
