can’t see pictures in the audio/video strip – can only see a picture in the viewer
Hi
In a previous version of Vegas (can’t remember which one) I could see individual pictures along the video strip so I could ‘see’ ads if you like so I knew where they were to cut them out.Now, in Vegas 9.0, I only see a blank audio strip with a picture here and there (at chapter markers and at the beginning and end of a split) and if I want to see the video I have to play and watch in the viewer. It means that I find ads by the change in the audio stream, then I click there and watch to see when they start and finish.
Is this a setting that I am missing?
If I put the same video into Pinnacle I can see individual pictures down in the video strip and in the preview window but I can’t in Vegas. It’s a real pain.
How do I fix it?

In Options/Preferences, “in the Video” tab, there is a setting entitled “Thumbnails to show in video Events. If you change that to “All”, that might solve the problem.
