  • Cant see image when dropped in timeline (CS6 with latest updates)

Posted by Danny Winn on July 27, 2013 at 7:06 pm

So I’m using Premiere Pro 6 with the latest updates and when I drop and image or clip into the timeline I can’t see the image in the program sequence window until I render it which is obviously a big problem.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

PS: I had this problem before the updates too.

When you say ‘render’, do you mean a preview render on the timeline or a movie export?

    And let’s start simple…
Drag a clip to the new item icon (lower-right corner of the bin) and make a matching sequence.
Go to ‘Window’ file menu select ‘Workspace’ drop down and select ‘editing’
Then go to the same ‘Window’ file menu/’Workspace’ and select ‘Reset Current Workspace’
Now do you see any timeline image?

Just to make sure, are you positive the track output (eyeball on the track) is toggled to on?

Silly, I know, but it’s one of those random things one can forget.

Can you send me a Screen Shot of this. I will see if I can trouble shoot it or send you a tutorial on how to fix it.
