  Can’t see external hard drive on Desktop or in Disk Utility after installing Mountain Lion

  I installed a clean version of Mountain Lion on a second hard drive on my Mac Pro. I have a sonnet tempo-x esata 4+4 that allows me to connect 4 external hard drive with sata cables.. I am not seeing any of these drives on the desktop or in Disk utility. I DID check the show Extenaldrives on desktop in Finder, but still no luck. Any thoughts? Al drives show up when starting up from my other hard drive with Snow Leopard. Is there a driver that needs to be installed?

  Second issue, I have always listened to my computer’s internal audio by playing it through a Kona lHe card. I’m aware that this card is not compatible with ML. I’m connected to a Mackie VLZ 1202 mixer for FCP. How can I monitor audio with FCP X now? I’d like to keep using FCP7 on my Snlow leopard drive while I learn FCP X. Any thoughts there?
